Stormy Monday

Today I got the chance to ride up one of the most beautiful roads in the world. The bummer was the fog rolled in and that restricted the good photo ops. It also meant the cold of the Pacific moved in. Of course even with all that it was incredible. Every time you come around a corner you see the mountain falling into the ocean. 

 The waves crashing onto the rocks and the cliffs jutting out into the water, incredible....
  We made our way to Cambria for lunch. If you have never tried fish tacos treat yourself one day. I learned about them in the 80's in Santa Barbara. Then passed Big Sur to Monterey for other night at the Best Western. Got in just in time to see the seals at Fisherman's Wharf and enjoy a delicous meal at the Old Fisherman's Grotto.
  My song combo today is Everthing But The Girl " Missing" as you come around the mountain to see the ocean bashing into the cliffs. My thought for today is you may feel fear because you can't see the road around the corner but your brain knows it's there so you go forward. Don't let fear hold you back from taking the challenges you know you can accomplish. See through the fog to the bright day ahead.
