The Good the Bad and the Marsala

Today was a day of rest and tooling around with Steve. He runs the audio video for his church which is just around the corner from the Newport Bay. He is the wizard behind the curtain. Had my first In and Out burger and Sarah you are right they are great. A visit to Laguna and then it was time for a little bike TLC. She took a quart of oil, actually she needed a little less but for 2000 hard miles she is doing well. Then dinner with the family.
Steve's wife Janet and I haven't seen each other in about 25 years. She and Steve were not married yet when we last saw each other and now they have two teenage girls. She is a lawyer, so the discussion of the difference in court prodical was interesting. Steve is still trying to entice me out here. The scenery is beautiful but can't leave my girls just yet. We met next door at an italian place. Met Steve's two girls both in high school and typical teenagers. Watching Steve the dad was a trip. A far cry from the giant oil guy I know.
The truth for the day is this; there is good and evil in the world, people are clamouring for the good to win. Just look at the people who showed up at the kidnapped girls houses when they returned home in Cleveland or how many cheered when Arius was convicted. We need to do good whenever the opportunity presents itself, it spreads to all involved. Face evil head on and trust in the good within you.
Tomorrow a little lunch and then on to Santa Barabara via the 101 scenic drive.
